Maria’s journey began in marketing, where she honed her skills after earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in media science. But her real passion? Traveling the globe and soaking up new cultures!

In 2020, a study abroad semester whisked her away to Perth, Western Australia – and she was immediately smitten. After finishing her Master’s back in Germany, she returned to the land down under where she guided international students through the same hurdles she once faced. She even took a detour to the outback, working at a roadhouse before landing a dream job with SeaLink. On her eventual return to Germany, she stayed connected to her love for travel by working in the camping and outdoor industry. And now, Maria’s back where she belongs – right in the heart of the tourism industry!

And when she’s feeling creative, Maria works on digital drawings inspired by her travels, often featuring the marine wildlife she adores.
