Franco's story ...
Back in the mid 80’s, Franco stumbled into the travel biz by accident. Armed with a knack for languages, a love of history and a serious lack of cash, becoming a tour guide in Europe seemed like the ultimate get-paid-to-have-fun plan. Franco kicked off this adventure in style – with the largest travel company in the world at the time. This saw him work in Egypt, the Soviet Union, the former Yugoslavia, Italy, France, USA and the Caribbean.
From operational to commercial wizardry, Franco’s journey took a detour into product and contracting, focusing on Eastern Mediterranean gems like Greece and Turkey. Then, in 1997 he hit the destination jackpot as Head of Product & Contracting for a UK long haul specialist, diving deep into the wonders of Southeast Asia.
Fast forward to today, and Franco’s Southeast Asia love affair is still going strong, all thanks to transitioning into the ‘world of representation’ in 2010.
When not travelling ...
Franco loves the outdoors. Skiing, hiking and sailing are all escapes which he enjoys when time permits – and, more importantly, when his wife allows. Books accompany him everywhere.
Funniest travel memory ...
He’ll tell you when he meets you. The list is long and distinguished. Better set up a meeting now!

“One of my favourite experiences in Bali is cycling through the rice fields in Ubud, a great way to take in the scenery“
