Expanding our Italian presence with a new Director of Sales

We are pleased to announce a further strengthening of our European sales team with the appointment of an additional Director of Sales for Italy. Saskia Bigai will be responsible for conceiving and executing sales and marketing strategies throughout Italy that will drive growth and provide brand awareness for their clients.

Commenting on the new appointment, Ian Paul Woods, Chief Executive Officer for Red Elephant Reps, said “Saskia’s expertise in hotel sales and marketing combined with her strong connections in the travel and hospitality industry in Italy will be crucial in helping us to grow even further within the region. With the expansion of our sales team, we are continuing to further strengthen our reputation as a powerhouse of global representation!”

Saskia has spent the last 23 years working in sales and marketing for some of the world’s most exciting and distinguished hotel groups, not to mention several boutique hotels in the Caribbean and Indian Ocean. Prior to this, she worked for tour operators and in the MICE industry.  Saskia is extremely well connected with trade partners throughout Italy and beyond, and is highly respected by hoteliers and travel connections for delivering exceptional standards of personal service – something Saskia strongly believes in.
