At a young age, Elke strapped on a backpack and set off to explore Europe on a budget. During these explorations, she ended up getting into the hotel industry by chance. Before she knew it, Elke was in management positions in hotels in France, Switzerland, French Polynesia and South Africa.

From general manager roles, Elke then moved into sales and marketing roles, spending seven years in France, representing upscale and luxury hotels in European markets (DACH, France, Belgium, Italy and Spain).

Elke is also a specialist in the Middle East, the Indian Ocean and South Africa. These are just a handful of the countries this globe trotter has visited. Elke is always open for new discoveries and experiences, albeit in more comfort these days! 

Elke is fluent in German, English and French and speaks conversational Italian.

Elke is constantly on the move exploring the South of France or nearby countries to attend cultural events such as the theatre and concerts. Following her favourite ballet company has taken her to Baalbeck in Lebanon and the Acropolis in Athens, as well as many places in France.
