Fairmont Maldives Chooses to Partner with Red Elephant Reps
Commenting on the new partnership, Ian Paul Woods, CEO for Red Elephant Reps said: “Since we started, we’ve been handpicking the most incredible portfolio of properties – and Fairmont Maldives fits in perfectly with our vision to provide luxury travel experiences. We are confident that our highly-experienced marketing team will do an extraordinary job in boosting their brand visibility”.
Located on the Shaviyani Atoll, which boasts one of the country’s largest resort lagoons, Fairmont Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi is more than just a luxurious hideaway. The 120 villas all have private pools and are either nestled among the lush mangrove and jungle foliage, on the edge of powdery white sands, or set on stilts above the serene azure waters of the lagoon.
Guests can explore a range of unrivalled experiences including sailing to a deserted island or joining a sunset dolphin cruise. There is a wide array of watersports to try including kayaking, catamaran sailing and snorkelling. For the ultimate underwater experience, the resort’s dive team will take both beginner and experienced divers out to the 9km-long house reef, home to manta ray cleaning stations, black tipped reef sharks and other marine life. There is even the option to plant coral fragments at the resort’s Coralarium – the Maldives’ first and only coral regeneration project in the form of an underwater art installation.
Dining options are abundant with four restaurants offering seasonally-inspired menus as well as in-villa culinary experiences such as private barbecues. The resort’s 200-metre-long swimming pool offers both sunrise and sunset views. The award-winning Willow Stream Spa offers a host of spa treatments and therapies. Fitness amenities include a well-equipped gym, classes in Thai boxing and yoga, tennis, bicycles, beach volleyball and football facilities. There is also an art studio, kids club and teens club.
